Signature: Mumei(unsigned) attributed as Akasaka Senjyuinn
The blade was polished.
habaki:copper single habaki.
Blade length : 73.3cm or 28.85 inches.
Sori : 2.0cm or 0.78 inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.08cm or 1.21 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.95cm or 0.76 inches.
Kasane : 0.81cm or 0.31 inches.
Weight of only blade:820g
Era : Late Muromachi period eiroku era.
Shape : The blade is Ubunakago with regular
with deep sori nice looking sword.
Jitetsu :Itame hada well grained with jinie attach
and shirake utsuri appear.
Hamon : Consisted of nie hamon, gunome midare
and choji midare and also togari gunome midare mixed
with sunagashi, yo and small kinsuji work. Boshi is midarekomi style.
Special feature : This sword is ubu style, deep sori
and longer kissaki nice looking shape.
From the hamon, Jigane and shape, the sword looks like Akasaka Senjyuin.
On the middle part ha, kissaki area, there is small hagarami(flaw)
but it is not serious. This sword is ubu style of Muromachi period
which has passed more than 470 years elegant shape.
Koshirae :
Tsuba :Thin iron Tosho tsuba.
Fuchikashira :Copper plate.
Saya : brown red ishimeji saya.
Menuki : family crest is engraved by shakudo plate.
