Blade length 2 Syaku 3 Bunari Syowa Heisue Nen Natsuhi Kanzan sensei wrote the sayagaki for this sword.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold double foiled habaki
Blade length : 61.5cm or 24.22inches.
Sori : 1.5cm or 0.59inches.
Mekugi : 3
Width at the hamachi : 2.48cm or 0.98inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.65cm or 0.65inches.
Kasane : 0.55cm or 0.22inches.
Era : Late Heian Peirod period.
Shape : Oosuriage Mumei blade.
The blade is regular sized deep sori and utsubuse gokoro style(deep and Monouchi ares is head down style which is typical Old koto style.)
The hamachi area is rather thin graceful shape. There are faint utsuri.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada well grained with jinie attached. There are delicate chikei seen.
Hamon : Koniedeki choji midare and gunome midare mixed in Ha.
There are many Ashi and small kinsuji work.
Special feature : Nobufusa is a swordsmith from Eishou period which is now legendary katana.
This piece is konie base gnome mix with choji mix.
In the ha there are active kinsuji streaks seen.
It is impressive that it is still existing with perfect shape.
At Jyougen 2nd Year, Kamakura period, emperor Gotoba has forged a katana by himself.

Tsuba: signature: Chikouken Hiroyuki(kao): NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon paper: On the Shibuichi Tsuba,
reed and crane are engraved with gold and silver inlay and color.
Fuchi kashirae: signature: Haruaki Hogan(kao): On the Shakudo plate,
moon, cloud and crane are engraved with gold and silver color.
Saya: black Kizami saya.
Menuki: On the Shakudo plate, bird is engraved with gold color.
