Katana in Koshirae
Signature: Mumei attributed as Chikushi Ryokai.
The blade was polished.
Blade length : 63.0cm or 24.8 inches.
Sori : 1.3cm or 0.51inches.
Habaki: Copper single foiled habaki
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi :2.55cm or 1inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.62cm or 0.64inches.
Kasane : 0.6cm or 0.24 inches.
Era : Middle to late Muromachi period
Shape : Oosuriage mumei. Elegant shaped katana
From hamachi to middle part, there is a small chip but if remove the chip, the blade will be slender so we leave this.
Jitetsu :Itamehada grained with jinie attached and oohed appear.
The hada is little loose . Uturi can be seen with
Boshi round and brushed.
Hamon : Koniedeki suguha with komidare hamon.
Special feature : The blade has elegant sori jigane and Hamon which remind us Nobukuni but probably Chikushi Nobukini from the Jigane and hamon.
Even though a hakobore, it still good shape middle Muromachi style.

Tsuba : On the blass plate, some leaves are engraved.
Fuchikashira : On the blass plate, some leaves are engraved.
Saya : Nashiji
Menuki : A dragon is engraved.
