Koto : Jyosaku ranking : Oowaza mono cutting test ranking :Yamashiro
The blade was polished by high ranking polisher.
Habaki :gold foiled single habaki,

Sori : 1.4 cm or 0.55 inches.

Width at the hamachi : 2.65 cm or 1.04 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.71 cm or 0.67 inches.
Kasane : 0.56 cm or 0.22 inches.
Era : Late kamakura period. 1293
Shape : The blade is oosuriage (cut shortened) engraved gomabashi and bonji and other part of the blade has Suken and Bonji.
Jitetsu : Koitame had week grained with jinie attach and small chikei work beautiful nice jigane.
Hamon : koniedeki suguha with koashi and Uchinoke and boshi is round shape hakikake style (brush up).
Special feature : Ryokai was working at Yamashiro province and said as a son of the Rai Kunitoshi.
The Jigane and hamon was influenced Yamato school.
This sword looks first generation Tegai Kanenaga.
Also connived Yamashiro school.
The sword is beautiful texture and also nice Hamon.
Koshirae :
Tsuba : On the round shape iron stub, engraved samurai and Female demon with gold color. Mogarashi school.
Fuchikashira : On the syakudo nanako plate, a samurai is sitting under the tree with gold color. Mogarashi school.
Saya : Black roar saya.
Menuki : On the syakudo plate, mai is engraved with gold color.
