Sayagaki: Sasshu Namihira, Mumei, blade length is 67.27cm.
There are many nice work in Ha.

This Mumei (Ko-Namihira) belongs to Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished
Habaki :silver double habaki.
Blade length : 67.27 cm or 26.48 inches.
Sori : 0.9 cm or 0.35 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.72 cm or 0.354 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.89cm or 0.744 inches.
Kasane : 0.5 cm or 0.2 inches.
Era : Late Kamakura period.
Shape : The blade is oosuriage mumeei(cut shortened) attributed as Komihara school.
Jitetsu :itame hada and mokume hada mixed with jinie attach and oohada.
The jigane is well grained beautiful old Kamakura jigane.
Hamon : Niedeki suguha mainly and komidare mixed.
Hamachi area, is gunome midare with subagashi and small kinsuji work.
Boshi is Sakusaku-Fu round shape.
Special feature : Ko-Naminohira was a swordsmith group in Satsuma province
from Heian period, Kamakura, Muromachi, and late Edo period.
Ko-Naminohira is from late Heian period to Nanbokucho period.
Naminohira is from Muromachi period. Late Muromachi period is Sue-Naminohira. These blades are Suguha Hamon.
This sword is Ko-Naminohira which was made around Kamakura period.
The sword is good Jigane and typical Ko-Naminohira well graied soft feeling Jigane.
We recommend this sword for you.
It looks lose hada on the upper part of the blade by pictures but not so bad if you see this sword.
Koshirae : Handachi style koshirae.
Tsuba :Round shape iron Tsuba, many lines are engraved
around Rim and engraced some shapes. Nanban school.
Fuchikashira :On the syakudo plate gold line are painted.
Saya : black ishimeji style.
Menuki : On the syakudo plate some flowers are engraved with gold color.
