This Mumei (Shiga seki) belongs to Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Blade length : 67.87 cm or 26.72 inches.
Sori : 1.56 cm or 0.61 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.0 cm or 1.18 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.4 cm or 0.94 inches.
Kasane : 0.66 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Muromachi period, around Meio era(1492-1501).
Shape : Regular size Katana with large Sori. Nakago is long.
Jitetsu : Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach and visible to see the texture.
Hamon : Nie Deki, Gunome Midare with Togari-Ha.
In Ha, there are Sunagashi and Kinsuji. Kissaki is Notare Yakizume style.
Special feature : Kanenobu (shiga seki) is Mino school and muved to Shiga Owari province.
So the blade is called Shiga seki. He succeed in Muromachi period, around Meio era(1492-1501).
The famous sword smith is Kanenobu in that school.
There is only few signature's blade. This blade remined the Norishige. The Nakago-jiri is partially still keeping Ubu condition.
Koshirae :
Tsuba : Round shape iron Tsuba, pine tree, old couple crane and turtle engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira : Shakudo Nanako, pine tree, shell and wave are engraved with gold color.
Saya : Black Roiro Saya.
Menuki : Shakudo, flower is engraved with gold color.
