This sword belongs to regular saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : single copper.
Blade length : 70.8 cm or 27.87 inches.
Sori : 1.7 cm or 0.66 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.76 cm or 1.08 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.07 cm or 0.81 inches.
Kasane : 0.62 cm or 0.24 inches.
Era : Edo period, around Kanbun era.
Shape : Regular size Katana with large Sori. The nice shape Katana.
Jigane : Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach. The Shinogi-Ji is Masanagare.
Hamon : From Hamachi is Suguha
and then Nie Deki, round shape Gunome Midare.
Boshi is round Notare shape.
Special feature: According to the Jigane and Hamon, this blade looks Echizen Shinto. The NBTHK judged as Jumyo.
This Nakago is Ubu Mumei. The shape is very nice.
Koshirae :
Tsuba: Iron Tsuba, Ume flower is engraved.
Fuchi: iron, bamboo grass is engraved with gold color.
Kashira is black horn.
Saya : Aogai Chirashi(blue shell) Saya with black Urushi lacquer.
Menuki : Shakudo, Shihi dog is engraved with gold color.
