The blade was polished.
Habaki : Silver Ganseki habaki(rock shape)
Blade length : 62.8 cm or 24.72 inches.
Sori : 1.1 cm or 0.43 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.0 cm or 1.18 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.25 cm or 0.88 inches.
Kasane : 0.65 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Edo period Kanbun era.
Shape : The blade is wide and thick with longer kissaki nice looking shape.
Jigane : Ko-Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach. It is beautiful Jigane.
Hamon : Niedeki, Nioiguchi is gunome midare hamon bright and clear.
Boshi is notare and round shape
Special feature : Takada school is generally unpopular, but the first of Takada has beautiful Jigane and hamon bright and clear.
The hada pattern is well seen.
This blade looks like Takada school. This is nice blade.

Tsuba : Flower shap Tsuba, flower pattern inlaid by brass.
Fuchikashira : Shakudo nanako plate, Plum blossom is engraved, with gold color.
Saya : Black Ishimeji Saya.
Menuki : Shakudo plate, Plum blossom is engraved, with gold color.
Kojiri : Silver plate.
