The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold foiled single Habaki.
Blade length : 71.8 cm or 28.26 inches.
Sori : 1.5 cm or 0.59 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.77 cm or 1.09 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.95 cm or 0.76 inches.
Kasane : 0.68 cm or 0.26 inches.
Era : Late Nanbokucho period to Oue era.
Shape : Osuriage Mumei, regular size katana. There are Bo-Hi on both side.
Jigane : Ko-Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach. There are Shirake Fu Utsuri.
The Jigane is beautiful.
Hamon : Ko-Nie Deki, Suguha Hamon with Ashi and Yo. There are fine Gunome Midare.
Boshi is round Togari gokoro shape.
Special feature :Tegai Kanekiyo is a swordsmith of Yamato Tegai school in Nanbokucho period.
Generally, the Jigane of old Tegai school is Koitame Hada.
The Jigane since the Muromachi period become mare Hasame.
This blade's Jigane is quite nice. The Hamon is Suguha Deki and bright.
Koshirae :
Saya : Black Roiro Saya.
Tsuba : Round shape Iron Tsuba, the millitary leader's fan is engraved with open work.
The rim is covered with silver rope pattern.
Menuki : Copper, person is engraved with gold color.
Fuchi: Shakudo, wave is engraved. Kashira : black horn.
