This sword belongs to Jyo ranking as Mumei Mino sword.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Single Silver
Blade length : 68.2 cm or 26.9 inches.
Sori : 1.9 cm or 0.74 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the Hamachi : 3.07 cm or 1.21 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.94 cm or 0.76 inches.
Kasane : 0.78 cm or 3.07 inches.
Era : Later Muromachi period.
Shape : Wide, Thick blade with deep Sori, rather long Kissaki well balanced sword.
Jigane : Itamehada well appearing as Ooitamehada Jonori attached.
Hamon : Nie-deki slim Suguha little Ashi working Boshi turning round shape.
Special feature : From the style of blade, this sword seems to be forged at Muromachi period.
From condition of Jigane and Hamon, this should be Sue-Seki or Sue-Tegai.
This Nakago should had signature but seems to be eraced.
Koshirae : Handachi style.
Saya : Plants drawn on cloth and lacquered.
Tsuba : Arabesque engraved on Suaka plate. Tachi Tsuba.
Menuki : Bow engraved with gold color.
Fuchi : Old sage engraved on Suaka Ishimeji plate with Shakudo
Kashira : Lim gold colored on Shakudo plate.
Kojiri : Suaka plate.
