The blade was polished.
Blade length : 66.6 cm or 26.22 inches.
Sori : 2.1 cm or 0.82 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.15 cm or 1.24 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.61 cm or 1.02 inches.
Kasane : 0.62 cm or 0.24 inches.
Era : Early Muromachi period.
Shape : The blade is wide and thick healthy Nagamaki Naoshi style katana.
Jitetsu : Itame hada well grained with jinie attach and also Chikei work.
Hamon : Niedeki notare and Gunome midare mix with deep nioikuchi. In ha, there are many sunagashi and kinsuji works. Boshi is midarekomi style with kinsuji works.
Special feature : Kanenobu was a young brother of Kanetoshi and a student of the Naoe-Shizu Kaneuji.
This blade is similar as Naoe crew's swords, very beautiful jigane and also nice Chikei work. Part of deep nioikuchi feature of Soushuden appears as well.
Koshirae :
Tsuba : On the octagon iron Tsuba, wide mimi with waves and birds are engraved.
Fuchi : On the shakudo nanako plate,hollyhock's leaves are engraved with gold iroe. kashira : Horn
Saya : Black roiro saya
Menuki : On the shakudo nanako plate, monkey is engraved with gold and suaka cooper iroe.
