Signature : Mumei (Zenjyo Kaneyoshi)
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to Jyo-Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished by good polisher.
Habaki : Double gold foiled habaki.
Blade length : 66.36 cm or 26.12 inches.
Sori : 2.55 cm or 1.00 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.8 cm or 1.10 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.8 cm or 0.70 inches.
Kasane : 0.63 cm or 0.24 inches.
Era : early Muromachi period. Ouei era. 1420.
Shape : The blade is suriage and Machiokouri with deep sori nice loking shape.
Hamon : Niedeki suguha hamon woth sansaku style round shape.
Special feature : The blade is nice Jigane with clear Utsuri appear whick looks like Bizen Osafune Sanenaga.
Early stage of the Zenjyo Kaneyoshi started from early Muromachi ouei era (1420)
Kaneyoshi was a son of the Naoe Shizu Kanetsugu or Yamato Kaneyoshi's son.
I think the blade was made around ouei 27 firswt generation.
On the front, a dragon is engraved and on the back Gomabashi and Bonji are engraved.
The engraving was made not so old but good work.
The blade is matching well with nice jigane and hamon.
Koshirae : Jindachi Koshirae.
Tsuba : On the round shape iron Tsuba, aoi leaves are engraved wit gols color.
Saya : On the gold nashiji saya, paineted，Chinese phoenix.
Menuki : A dragon is engraved by syakudo plate.
Fuchikashira : On the iron plate, aoi leaves are painted by gold color.
