The blade was polished.
Habaki:Suaka cooper double habaki
Blade length : 60.4 cm or 23.77 inches.
Sori : 1.5 cm or 0.59 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.86 cm or 1.12 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.86 cm or 0.73 inches.
Kasane : 0.69 cm or 0.27 inches.
Era : Middle Muromachi period.
Shape : The blade is suriage (cut shortened) regular sized sword with deep sori nice looking shape.
Jitetsu : Itame had well grained with jinie attach and visible to see the texture.
Hamon : Nie deck gunome midair and small gunome midair mixed.
In Hamon, there are sunagashi and Kinsuji scatter.
Special feature : The founder of the Fujishima school is Tomoshige around late Kamakura to early Nanbokucyo period.
This Fujishima school belonged to Yamashiro and moved to Kaga province. The blade is blackish jigane like Uda school.
If you appreciate the sword carefully, this sword has a lot of activities and charm points.

Tsuba : On the iron tsuba, many Kizami(chase) engrave and leaves design are engrave open work. Edo period.
Fuchikashira : Made with copper plate
Saya : black roar saya.
Menuki : On the Shakudo plate,bow and case are engraved with gold color iroe.
