The blade was polished by high ranking polisher.
Habaki:Gold foiled single habaki.
Blade length : 74.8 cm or 29.44 inches.
Sori : 1.4 cm or 0.55 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 3.06 cm or 1.20 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.16 cm or 0.85 inches.
Kasane : 0.66 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Early Edo period.
Shape : The blade is rather wide and thick and long Kanei style.
On the sword, bo-hi is engraved both sides of the blade.
Jitetsu : Koitame had and komokume had mixed with jinie attach and chikei work beautiful texture.
Hamon : Niedeki suguha and noter with thick nioikuchi and in Hamon, there are many ash, sunagashi and also kinsuji work.
Special feature : This sword is suriage mumei (small cut shortened) attributed as Higo Daijyo Sadakuni at NBTHK shins. He was a younger brother of the first generation Yasutsugu. According tot the book, He was a teacher of Kotetsu.
Kotetsu studied from the Jigane and Hamon.
But anyway He is quite well known sword maker in Echizen province.
This sword is koitame had and komokume had mixed blackish jigane which looks like first generation Yasutsugu.
The blade is 74.8 cm long fantastic sword without Kizu and flow. We recommend this sword for you.

Tsuba : On the round thin stub, some design are engraved by nunome zogan.
Fuchikashira : On the syakudo ishime ji some gold lines are engraved by gold color.
Saya : Black roar saya.
Menuki : A chicken is engraved by syakudo with gold color.
