Signature : Mumei(unsigned) attributed as Ko-Mihara.

(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saki)This sword Ko-Mihara belongs to Jyo-Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished by high ranking poliser.
Habaki :gold foiled single habaki.
Blade length : 66.5cm or 26.2 inches.
Sori : 0.9 cm or 0.35 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.94 cm or 1.16 inches.
Width at theKissaki : 2.275 cm or 0.9 inches.
Kasane : 0.67cm or 0.27inches.
Era : Nanbokucyo period Enbun Jyoji era(1356-1360)
Shape The blade is oosuriage(cut shortened) with Bo-hi is englaved Kakinagashi style.
Hamon:Niedeki suguha with small ashi scatter in Ha.
Boshi os round shape Togari hamon.
Jigane:Itame hada well grained with jinie attach and chikei work.
Jigane looks Chirimenhada strong feeling Aoe style.
Special feature :Komihara was working at Bingo provence
from Kamakura leriod to Nanbokucyo period which is called Komihara.
From Muromachi period to middle Muramachi is called Mihara school
and Late Muromachi period is called Sue mihara.
Some Komihara looks very similar with Aoe school.
I think we can say the the blade judge as Aoe because
the blade is very similar Chirimen hada with utsuri.
At present, the most reliable judge is Tanobe sensei
who was working at NBTHK main judge.
Right now he attended to judge Jyuyo token shinsa.
He judged the blade as komihara.
The blade was polisjed high ranking polisher and quite nice Jigane.
