Signature : Mumei(Mino Senjuin)
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saki)This sword belongs to Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold foiled single habaki.
Blade length : 69.9 cm or 27.51 inches.
Sori : 1.6 cm or 0.62 inches.
Mekugi : 3
Width at the hamachi : 2.78 cm or 1.09 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.97 cm or 1.16 inches.
Kasane : 0.635 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Early Muromachi period.
Shape: Osuriage Mumei、regular size katana with deep Sori.
Jitetsu: Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach. It is clear Jigane.
There are Shirake Utsuri.
Hamon: Nie Deki, Suguha base with Notare-Ha mix. Hamon is rather Shimi gokoro.
Boshi is round shape.
Special feature :This Mino Senjuin school started from Nanbokucyo period to late Muromachi period.
So many years ago, sword makers in Nara, moved to Mino province and made swords mixed up
with Mino school and Senjyuin style.
From the Sori shape, this blade was made around late Nanbokucho to early Muromachi period.
The Hamon is full of variety.
