The blade was polished
Habaki : Silver single habaki.
Blade length : 60.3 cm or 23.74 inches.
Sori : 1.2 cm or 0.47 inches.
Mekugi : 3
Width at the hamachi : 2.83 cm or 1.11 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.96 cm or 0.77 inches.
Kasane : 0.60 cm or 0.23 inches.
Era : Edo period Enpo era.
Shape : The blade is regular sized small suriage and Machiokuri shape.
Jitetsu : Itame hada well grained with jinie attach and blackish jigane also visible to see the texture well.
Hamon : Niedeki gunome midair round head shape.
Special feature : From the Jigane, hamon and also blackish jigane, the blade is Echizen shinto. I think Harima Daijyo Shigetaka later generation.
Koshirae : Very nice Toppei Koshirae.
Recently it is rather hard to obtain like this Toppei koshirae.
The Tsuka is opposite which is unusual shape.
Tsuba : Very thick round shape with rope design.
Fuchikashira : Kojiri and other fittings. All mating Kodo-gu.
On the iron plate, Karakusa design is engraved by silver line.
Saya : brown ishimeji saya.
