Katana in Shirasaya, with Koshirae(NBTHK Hozon paper) for the blade and Fuchi.
Signature : Noshu Seki Zenjo ke Echizen Yoshikado
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
JyoJyo saku and regular saku)
This Yoshikado belongs to Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Blade length : 66.4 cm or 26.14inches.
Sori : 1.6 cm or 0.62 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 3.0 cm or 1.18 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.36 cm or 0.92 inches.
Kasane : 0.64cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Edo period, around Kanbun era.
Shape : 2 Sun(6cm) Suriage(cut shorten) with much curvature.
The Kissaki is rather long katana. There is dragon and Suken and Dokko curving on the blade.
Jitetsu :Nie deki gunome midare with ashi well attached.
It is sunagashi and kinsuji work applied. Boshi is round ended.
Special feature : Hamon : Noshu Seki Yoshisada Ke Musashi Kami Yoshikado is a younger brother
of Echizen Yoshikado. He studied under Omura Kaboku.
He signed his signature Noshu Seki Zenjyo Ke Musashi Kami Yoshikado, Noshu Seki Zenjyo
Ke Echizen Kami Yoshikado, Bando Taro Shizumasa Nyudo Bokuden,
Jyoshu Mito Jyu Bando Taro Shizumasa Nyudo Bokuden.
He made works that are close to Ichimonji and Yasusada and on Enpo 5th year,
by the order of MIto Mitsukuni, he was called Bokuden. He became sword smith the swordsmith
of MIto family. Because he was originally from Mino province, his blade sharpness was famous.
He died in April 29thKyoten 4th year.

Fuchi: Signature: Umino Yoshiaki saku. NBTHK Hozon Paper
Shibuichi plate with Chuang tze is engraved with gold, silver, Shakudo and coppar color.
kashira : Shibuichi plate with Buddha on cloud is engraved with gold, silver, Shakudo and coppar color.
Saya : Black roiro saya
Menuki : Shakudo plate with Darma design engraved and inlaid with copper.
