Explanation: Tsukamoto Okimasa made this blade at Mr. Toyama Misturu' house in August 1938.
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saku)
This Tsukamoto Okimasa belongs to Jyojyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Blade length : 65.2 cm or 25.66 inches.
Sori : 1.2 cm or 0.47 inches.

Width at the hamachi : 3.14 cm or 1.23 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.31 cm or 0.90 inches.
Kasane : 0.72 cm or 0.28 inches.
Era : Showa period.(1938)
Shape : Regular size Katana.
Jitetsu : Ko-Itame Hada and Ko-Mokume Hada mixed with Jinie attached. The Jigane is nice.
Hamon : Nie Deki, Gunome Midare. There are many Ashi. Boshi is Midarekomi style.
Special feature : Tsukamoto Okimasa (Tsukamoto Shinpachi) was born in
Fukushima pref in 1915, and learned under Kasama Ikkansai Shigetsugu.
He married with Shigetsugu's daughter.
He made fantastic Gunome midare like Kiyomaro , and Choji midare.
Especially, Jitetsu is the most wonderful of modern swordsmiths' works.
He made this blade at Mr. Toyama Misturu' house in August 1938.
He is a famous swordsmith. But his blade is few and precious.
