The blade was made at Aoyama in Edo Bunkyu 2nd year August.
The blade was polished by high ranking polisher.

Shape : The blade is wide and thick with suitable sori and longer kissaki nice looking shape.
Jitetsu :Koitame hada well grained with chikei work fantastic nice Jigane.
Hamon : Niedeki gunome midare and togari gunome mixed.
In Hamon, there are many ash and yo work. Boshi is round shape with thick nioikuchi.
Special feature : Nagasada is a school of Mino province Akasaka Senjyuuin. His real name is Matsui JIichiro. He has moved to Aoyama, Edo at Kouka to Kaei period(1844-1854) and studied sword forging.
Later on he becomes a personal swordsmith of Kishuu Tokugawa family. Thee blade tang showed Aoyama, Isetamaru or other district.
Okachiyama mountain area was the place battle with Tokugawa family and Oda family in Sekigahara area. Tokugawa Ieyasu was ordered from that mountain. He stick resolutely to Okachiyama Sanroku.
He passed away at Meiji 2nd year age 61 years.
Ordered person Hachiya maser was a samurai of Matuyama family.
Nagasada is well known sword maker and selected as Jyuyo token.
This sword is quite good condition with Ububa without kizu and faults and well balanced sword. We strongly recommend this sword for you.
