This sword belongs to Jyo saku ranking.
Shinto : Cyujyo saku ranking : Wazamono cutting test ranking : Echizen province.
The blade was polished by good polisher.
Habaki : Gold foiled single habaki.
Blade length : 70.29 cm or 27.67 inches.
Sori : 1.35 cm or 0.53 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.12 cm or 1.22 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.17cm or 0.85 inches.
Kasane : 0.72 cm or 0.28 inches.
Era : Edo period Kanbun era.
Shape : The blade is rather wide and thick with small sori and longer kissaki Kanei style.
Jitetsu : Koitame had well grained with jinie attach nice fine texture.
Hamon : Niedeki suguha with soft feeling Habuchi suguha scallter.
Special feature : Oumi Kami Fujiwara Tsuguhira was a student of the 3rd generation Yasutsugu.
He made swords at Echizen province and sometimes he made at Edo.
He succeeded his master Yasutsugu noter and suguha hamon.
He is good at Suguha hamon.
This blade is suguha with soft Habuchi ash work.
