Sayagaki translation: This sword is typical style of Tanba no kami Hojyoji Tachibana Sadakuni. Blade length 2 shaku 4 sun(around 75cm) Showa 46year(1971)

Blade length : 75.81 cm or 29.84 inches.
Sori : 1.27 cm or 0.50 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.94cm or 1.16inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.06cm or 0.81inches.
Kasane : 0.67cm or 0.26inches.
Era : Edo Period Kanbun era
Shape : The blade is regular size with bo-hi
and Soe-hi are engraved and long kissaki which was made around Kanei era.
Jitetsu :Koitame had well grained well grained with jinie attach and chikei work.
Hamon : Niedeki middle suguha based with a lot of ashi sofa feeling Habuchi.
In Hamon, sunagashi scatter bright hamon.
Special feature : Tajima no kami Hojoji Tachibana Sadakuni was a swordsmith of
Edo Hojoji school and similar Hamon and jigane.Masahiro, Masateru, Yoshitsugu,
and Kaneshige are well known sword makers in Edo Hojyoji school.
On the Ji, there are tiny kizu but not serious. The sayagaki was done
by Kanzan sensei.

Tsuba :On the round shape iron Tsuba, a crane is engraved open work.
The design is very good: Edo period.
Fuchikashira :On the copper plate, some leaves design is engraved.
Saya : black roar saya.
Menuki : Naginata and sode are engraved.
