Habaki: On copper plate, cloud design is engraved.
Blade length : 71.4cm or 28.11inches.
Sori : 0.8cm or 0.31inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.97cm or 1.17inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.7cm or 0.67inches.
Kasane : 0.68cm or 0.26inches.
Era : Edo period Genroku era.
Shape : There is 1sunn machiokuri. IT is rather shallow sori katana.
Jitetsu :Koitame hada well grained wtih jinie attached,
It is clear jigane.
Hamon : From the hamachi it is suguha and it becomes sudareba. It is gorgeous style.
Special feature : At late Muromachi period, Kanemichi who was working
at Mino province moved to Settsu province with his students.
Tanba Kami Yoshimichi (Kyo Tanba first generation) was making swords
and after that departed 2 school Kyo and Oosaka tanba.
These school made Sudareba hamon mainly.
These school had kept sudareba hamon as the top secret of these families.
In fact, even right now, it is very difficult to make this kind of Sudareba hamon
and we have never seen this kind of Hamon even right now.
