Habaki : Silver Double foiled habaki
Blade length : 71.5 cm or 28.15 inches.
Sori : 3.0 cm or 1.18 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.01 cm or 1.19 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.96 cm or 0.77 inches.
Kasane : 0.63 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Muromachi Period
Shape : It is regular width and thickness nice sori katana. It is in nice shape.
Jitetsu : Itame hada well grained with jinie attached. O-hada is visible.
Hamon : Nie Deki choji midare. There is sunagashi and kinsuji works.
There is some tired part however, there si some ups and downs in the ha.
Special feature : There is Kashu and Bizen Kanemitsu signatures however this signature is similar to Seki Kanemitsu.
This is because the signature is Katana signature and not Tachi signature.
We cannot determine if it is genuine signature or not.
This piece has some sori and nice elegant shape.
There is some kizu at the Ji and the ha however, it is nice shape. We recommend this piece.
