This sword Yasumine Nakamura Tadashi Gassaku.belongs to jyo-jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished by good polisher.
Blade length : 73.4 cm or 28.89 inches.
Sori : 2.2 cm or 0.86 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.35 cm or 1.31 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.52 cm or 0.99 inches.
Kasane : 0.79 cm or 0.31 inches.
Era : Syowa 53 (1978)
Shape : The blade is wide and thick with Bohi on both sides of the blade and deep sori gouges style.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach beautiful texture.
Hamon : Niedeki gunome midare with rather thick nioikuchi and ash, yo work in Hamon. Boshi is midarekomi style.
Special feature : Yasumune was called Oosaki Shigeharu born at Yamagata prefecture.
He moved to Tokyo and studied under the Shimazaki Yasuoki. At Syowa 12th he entered Nihonto Tanrenkai.
His master Yasuoki is very skillful wordsmith especially Kamakura Rai and UNrui style. His sword Jigane is quite nice.
After the war end, he made swords agai under the his master and Yasutake.
This sword is typical Sosyu den like 2ji Kunitoshi.
Also the blade is Gasaaku (corroborated sword with Nakamura Tadasi)
