Explanation: The blade was made by Yokoyama Kaganosuke Ason Sukenaga.
At kouka 4th year Feb.
The blade was polished by high ranking polisher.
Habaki :silver single.
Blade length : 75.3 cm or 29.64 inches.
Sori : 2.3 cm or 0.90 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.04cm or 1.19inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.89 cm or 0.74 inches.
Kasane : 0.67 cm or 0.26 inches.
Era : Late Edo period.
Shape : The blade is regular size with deep sori and longer kissaki
nice well balanced sword. in the front. Bohi and soehi are engraved.
On the back. sunken and Tsume are engraved.
Jitetsu :Koitame had well grained with jinie attach beautiful texture.
Hamon : Nkonie deki Fujimi saigyo style hamon.
From the hamachi, genlte suguha and then gunome midair
and then suguha hamon. which is called Fujimi Saigyo.
From the hamachi area, the foot of Mt Fuji and then the top of the mountain
and slide down to other mouton range and after that Mihara Matsubara and the ocean are mentioned.
On the ocean, some clouds shows by Utsuri.
Special feature : : Yokoyama Kaga Suke Ason Sukenaga succeeded from his father
Sukehita and educated many sword makers like Yokoyama Sukekane, Suketaka, ukeyoshi Suketosi and others.
This blade is called Fujimi Saigyo which means Mt Fuji and other mountain
and also Miho matsubara(it is beautiful see side contrast of Matsu trees and seaside)
The sentry from the view from the point(Miho Matsubara) Mt Fuji is excellent scenery.
This place was selected as world heritage recently.
The engraving of this sword is well balanced nice work.
The condition of the blade is perfect without Kizu and scratches.
Koshirae :
Tsuba :On the syakudo plate, the rim is covered by silver rope style plate.
on the Ji, autumn leaves are painted by gold color.
Fuchikashira :On the syakudo nanako plate, flying bird is engraving with gold color.
Saya : tiny blue shell (aogai chirasi) spread and covered by red color and polished.
Menuki : a tiger is engraved with gold color by syakudo plate.
