Habaki : Single foiled copper habaki
Blade length : 65.3cm or 25.7inches.
Sori : 1.6cm or 0.63inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.98cm or 1.17inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.03cm or 0.8inches.
Kasane : 0.76cm or 0.3inches.
Era : Showa period
Shape : It is wide and thick sword. Ubu original tang is left about 15cm.
Jitetsu :Koitame hada well grained with jinie attached. It is beautiful plain hada.
Hamon : NIe vase suguha style with some mixture of notare ha.
There is ashi well attached. The nioi line is deep. Boushi is round end.
Special feature : Yasuyoshi is a swordsmith from Chiba Togane city.
He was born in Yamagata prefecture at September 14th, Meiji 45th.
His real name is Ajiki Haruyoshi. He entered the Nihon-to Tanren-kai in 1933.
He learned under Kajiyama Yasutoku, Kotani Yasunori and Miyaguchi Yasuhiro.
Haruyoshi started to work with Kotani Yasunori in 1935. He has won Excellence prize twice and Ministry prize once.
Haruyoshi inscribed Yasuharu on his swords before he named Yasuyoshi in 1940.
He forged about 730 swords as a Yasukuni-tosho. In the postwar Japan,
he made a fresh start in 1955 and forged sword in Togane City in Chiba pref.
He passed away in 1994.
