Kasane : 0.71 cm or 0.27 inches.
Era : late Edo period.
Shape : The blade is long (76.4cm) and wide (3.41cm) and thick very healthy attractive shape.
Jitetsu:Koitame and masame hada mixed with jinie attach beautiful texture.
Hamon:Niedeki kogunome midare with ash and boshi is midarekomi style.
Special feature : Nobushige was making sword under the Yushima tenjin (shrine). Probably he was influenced from Suishinshi Masahide who was well known Fukkoto sword maker.
He made swords as cut well sword not flashy gorgeous wavy temper.
The sword is very wide and thick wonderful sword.
Koshirae :
Tsuba : On the mokko style iron tsuba, a human skeleton and monument of his death which was made by wood is lying on the field.
We feel sadness of human life.
Probably at the battle, he died at the warfront and buried him under the ground and built a wooden memory of him.
After many years had passed and lying his skeleton and a wood memory .
Fuchikashira : On the brass plate, waves are engraved with gold color.
