belongs to Jyo-saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki:silver double.
Blade length : 69.5 cm or 27.36 inches.
Sori : 1.6cm or 0.62 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 3.02cm or 1.18 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.17 cm or 0.85 inches.
Kasane : 0.66 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era :Edo period Syoho era.
Shape : The blade is rather wide and thick suriage style with deeper sori and long kissaki nice looking shape.
Jitetsu :item had well grained with jinie attach and visible to see the texture well strong feeling.
Hamon : Niedeki sanbonsugi style which remind us Kanemoto.
Special feature : Tashiro Genichi kanenobu was working at Syoho ara(1624) Mino province.
He adored Kanemoto sanbon sugu style.
At Edo period, Kanenobu, Darani Katsukuni are well known sword makers for making sanbonsugi hamon.
This sword is quite nice sword which looks very sharp cut well sword.
Koshirae : Higo style Koshirae: NBTHK Hozon Toso-gu.
Tsuba :On the mokko style iri¥on stub, spider sets and a spender is engraved and inlayed by silver.
Fuchikashira :On the iron plate, some design is painted by gold inlay. Higo
Saya : brown and black valor mixed up.
Menuki : some designe is engraved by syakudo plate with gold color.
