The Yoshioka family is very famous likewise the Goto family. Shigetsugu, the founder of the Yoshioka family lived in Kyoto. He became a retained metalsmith of the Tokugawa shogunate and went to Edo. Most of deferential works of this family for the Tokugawas were not signed.
