Soumin was a craftsman in Edo. He was son of 1st generation Muneoki, and he was called Chojiro or Tomotsune or Munetomo.
He was a retained craftsman of Edo government.
His works are bohemian and magnificent, and he made Katakiri-bori engraving technique.
He got a boost of business tycoon, and he established the Yokotani school.
Yokotani school produced many good craftsmans.
