The blade was polished.
Blade length : 22.8 cm or 8.97 inches.
Sori : 0.7 cm or 0.27 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 3.08 cm or 1.21 inches.
Kasane : 0.62 cm or 0.24 inches.
Era : Late Edo period.
Shape : The Kusarigama is long and wide compare with regular Kusarugama. The blade is signature on it.
Jitetsu : Koitame had well grained with jinie attach.
Hamon : Niedeki gunome midair with rough nie attach.
The hamon covers on the Shinogi ji also.
Special feature : Nanyo Jyu Kuninoriwas working at Ehime prefecture Minami uwa city Late Edo period.
The active hamon looks like Mizuta school hamon with aranie.
The chain of the Kusarigama is 3,1m long original subject.
It is quite rear item Kusarigama with signature on it.
I have never seen the Kusarigame with signature.
Well known Ninjya devoid 2 streams one is Koga and another group is Iga school.
Iga school was worked for contract by money but Koga school's Ninjya served for their master by their royalty.
Back ground : At key 2nd (1866) Jan 23rd, Shisengumi attacked Teradaya which was staying Sakamaoto Ryoma but fortunately he could escape.
Koshirae : Upper part of the pole is made by Mother-of-pearl.
