Signature : Mumei (unsigned) (attributed as Enjyu)
The blade was polished by high ranking polisher.
Habaki : Gold foiled double habaki.
Blade length : 70.90 cm or 27.91 inches.
Sori : 2.4 cm or 0.94 inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.07 cm or 1.2 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.03 cm or 0.79 inches.
Kasane : 0.66 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Late Kamakura period.
Shape : The blade is Oosuriage mumei (cut shortened) attributed as Enjyu.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada and mokume hada mixed with Jinie attach and chikei work and also slightly shirake utsuri appear
Hamon : Koniedeki chu suguha (middle suguha) small sunagashi and Kinsuji and also ashi work in Hamon.
Special feature : Founder of Enjyu school started by student of the Rai Kuniyuki. From late Kamakura period to Nanbokucho period, this school was worked at Kikuchi go by famous sword makers Kunitoki, Kuniyoshi, kuninobu and others.
This school is very similar with Rai Kuniyuki and Kunitoshi.
Even if the blade is Oosuriage Mumei, the blade is wide and thick healthy blade. The sword looks like Rai Kunitoshi.
It is very healthy without Kizu.
