The blade was polished by high ranking polisher.

Habaki: Gold Single Foiled Habaki
Blade length : 42.2cm or 16.62inches.
Sori : 2.1cm or 0.83inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.82cm or 1.1inches.
Kasane : 0.67cm or 0.26inches.
Era : Late Edo period.
Shape : It is quite large size naginata
Jitetsu : Koitame hada with mixture of komokume hada.
It is excellent jigane which is close to plain style.
Hamon : Consisted in konie style, from the hamachi it is suguha
with choji midare mixed gradually. There is different levels(ups and downs) on the hamon.
Ashi is well attached and soft and bright. Boushi is big and round up style.
Special feature : Yokoyama Kaga Fujiwara Sukenaga has made excellent Choji midare piece
at Shinshinto peirod. This choji midare was Yokoyama Sukenaga's original idea and later
on this choji midare has spread to many students. We could say that
those choji midare is called Yokoyama choji which is quite unique choji midare style.
The hamon will be imagined easily once you have seen the hamon.
This sword has been loved by many sword collectors.
The jigane is wonderful and perfect chojimidare.
There are some scratches. If you buy this sword, we will send the sword after touch up polish.
It takes about 3 weeks. We recommend you this piece.
