Sunnobi-Tanto in Shirasaya, with Koshirae.(NBTHK Hozon Paper)
Signature: Mumei(unsigned) attributed as Sue seki
The blade was polished.
Habaki:Syakudo plate.
Blade length : 30.8cm or 12.12 inches.
Sori : 0.4cm or 0.15 inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi :2.75 cm or 1.08 inches.
Kasane : 0.52 cm or 0.20 inches.
Era :late Late Muromachi period.
Shape : The blade is wide and thick sakisori style.(the blade has curve at the head part)
Jitetsu :Itame had well grained with jinie attach shirake utsuri appear.
Hamon : Niedeki gunome midare up and down which looks like Kanefusa.
Special feature : Generally Tanto which was at Mino province is wide and thick sakizori style.

From the Jigane and Hamon, the sword looks very similar with Kanefusa style.
The blade is healthy and looks cut well sword.
Koshirae :
Tsuba :On the Mokko style syakudo nanako plate, maple leaves are engraved with gold color.
and the rim is covered by Shakudo fukurin.
Fuchikashira :On the shibuichi plate, pug ugly is engraved with gold color.
Saya : On the brown red color, black design are painted and engraved a tiger by syakudo plate.
Bamboo leaves are painted by gold color.
Menuki : On the copper plate, the god of Fudo are engraved with gold color.
Kozuka : On the shibuichi plate, lovebirds are engraved with gold color and bamboo
leaves are engraved with gold color.
On the back, gold plates are put on the shibuichi plate. Noriyasu Konen 80 years.
The Kozuka is quite nice: not guarantee.
