Sori : No Sori
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 1.93 cm or 0.75 inches.
Kasane : 0.56 cm or 0.22 inches.
Era : Later Muromachi period.
Shape : Nakago is long, thick and nice shape.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada with Mokume had mixed, well grained with jinie attached. It is clear jigane
Hamon : Nie Deki Choji midare with ashi work. Boshi is round shape turns back long Yakisage.
Special feature : Bishu Ju Osafune Fujiwara Harumitsu is name of a sword smith group.
Jurouzaemoni Harumitsu, Gorozaemoni Harumitsu, Magojuro Harumitsu and Jirouzaemon Harumitsu are representative.
This blade seems to be Jurouzaemoni Harumitsu, good shape and better then other Harumitsu.
Choji midare Jigane is very well. Round shape Boshi turns back with long Yakisage is characteristic of Harumitsu.
Nakagojiri of Harumitsu is wider then normal Sukesada.
This blade is healty, no flaw, with full of rural beauty.

Saya : Black and red lacquered saya.
Menuki : Iron plate colored with gold.
Kozuka : Clam shell engraved on Shakudo-nanakoji plate colored with gold. Ko-Goto.
Kogai : Spyder and insect engraved on Shakudo plate, colored with gold and silver.
Kojiri : Wave engraved on shakudo plate.
Historical background:
Tensho 6(AD1578), March 13, Uesugi-Kenshin died.
Tensho 7(AD1579), Temple of Azuchi castle has been completion.
