The blade was polished.
Blade length : 26.1 cm or 10.27 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.77cm or 1.09 inches.
Kasane : 1.07 cm or 0.42 inches.
Era : Late Edo period.
Shape : It is wide and thick sword which is called Yoroi doshi tanto.
There are hi and soe-hi(the hi that sides with the main hi) at both side of the sword.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada well grained with jinie attached,
it is clear and nice hada texture.
Hamon : Konie ground with suguha and nioiguchi.
The ha shape is soft. From the first glance,
it is similar to that of Naminohira Yukiyasu.
Special feature : The signature is hard to identify, but what we know from the engraved part is that the sword smith his from Buzen and has made the sword from the god's water of Hikosan mountain. The Fine condition.
No exaggeration to say it is a masterpiece of yoroi doshi tanto.
