Tanto in Koshirae

Signature : Mumei attributed as Sueseki

(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saki)This sword belongs to regular saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki :Silver single habaki.
Blade length : 29.8cm or 11.73inches.
Sori : 0.2cm or 0.08inches.
Mekugi :  1
Width at the hamachi :2.69cm or 1.06inches.
Kasane : 0.58cm or 0.22inches.
Era : Late Muromachi Period
Shape : It is wide and thick tanto wit hsome Sori.
Hamon: Nie deki suguha with mixture of Nijyuba
and Uchinoke. Boshi is round and Yakisage style.

Special feature :At a glance, it is a sword that is made
at late Edo but the jigane is loose so it seems Muromachi period work.

Tsuba: Iron plate Hamidashi Tsuba
Saya:Black Ishimeji saya
Menuki: Shakudo plate with dragon design engraved and inlaid with gold.
Kozuka: Shakudo plate with dragon design engraved. There is a lump at the back.
