This sword belongs to Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold double foiled Habaki
Blade length : 31.2 cm or 12.28 inches.
Sori : 0.2 cm or 0.07 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.70 cm or 1.06 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.27 cm or 0.89 inches.
Kasane : 0.49 cm or 0.19 inches.
Era : Muromachi period Genki 2 Nen (1571)
Shape : It is regular width and thickness with much Saki Zori.
There are Bo-Hi and Soe-Hi engraved on both sides.
JIgane : Itame hada well grained with JInie attached. Shirake Utsuri is appearing.
Hamon : Nie Deki Suguha with tight and bright ha. Boshi is round ended.
Special feature : Wakasa (No) Kami Ujifusa moved to Owari province from Mino province so the workmanship was influenced by the Mino School.
The clan was ranked at Waza-mono.
Wakasa Kami Ujifusa was working at Mino province who was a son of the Kanefusa and got the title of Wakasa no Kami and moved to Bisyu.
Kiyosu ordered by Oda Nobunaga.
This work is imitation of Rai and similar tanto is qualified as Jyuyo Katana in the past.
The Jigane is clear with much Shirake Utsuri appearing. KOashi is attached.
The sword is rare in that it is high class sign Genroku 2nd Shogatsu(New Year).
Koshirae :
Tsuba : Shakudo plate with tiger and bamboo design engraved in Katagiri-Bori style. there is signature Naomasa.
Fuchi : Shakudo nanakoji plate with shrine gate and pine design engraved and inlaid with gold. Kashira : Tsuno
Saya : Black roiro saya
Menuki : Shakudo plate with tiger design engraved and inlaid with gold.
Kozuka : Shakudo nanakoji plate with two Shishi dog engraved and inlaad iwht gold.
Historical background : In Genki 2nd year 16th of February.

During the Genroku period, Oda Nobunaga and Isa Nagashima Enroku has burned down the Enroku ji.
It is Sengoku period intense work. Inside the country was chaotic with war.
