Sori : 1.2 cm or 0.47 inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.12 cm or 1.23 inches.
Kasane : 0.73 cm or 0.29 inches.
Weight of only blade : 412g
Era : Early Edo period.
Shape : It is wide and thick deep sori wakizashi in Shobu-dukuri style. The wakizashi is in nice shape.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada well grained with jinie attached. There is slight chikei works seen.
Hamon : Nie structure suguha hamon. There is deep nioi particles softly put. There is also nijyuba mix.
Special feature : It is likely that Heianjyo Jyu Fujiwara Tokikuni is not mentioned in directory of sword smith.
Despite this fact, this sword is well made with nice suguha hamon with nijyuba.
He may have been working under his mentor most of his carrier.
It is strong wakizashi so it is regretted that there is a small flaw on both side of the sword.
The signature is genuine.
