The blade was polished.
Habaki :single silver habaki.
Blade length : 53.3 cm or 21 inches.
Sori : 1.2 cm or 0.472inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi :3.07cm or 1.2 inches.
Width at the Kissaki :2.245cm or 0.89inches.
Kasane :0.66 cm or 0.23 inches.
Era : Edo period Kanbun era.
Shape: On both sides of the blade, bo-hi is engraved.
Hamon:Niedeki suguha from the Hamachi and then gunome midare
and togari gunome midare mixed and sinagashi work in Hamon.
Jigane:Koitame hada and mokume hada mixed with jinie attacj and well grained texture.
Special feature :First generation Nobutaka started from Keicyo era.
He moved from Mino province to Owari and his subject is similar with Hida Kami Ujifysa.
This sword belonged to 3rd generation.
He was called Kawamura Sannojyo and also named Nobuteru.
Nobutaka family continyed to late Edo period toll 10th generation well known sword smith.
This family belonged to Takugawa family's craft man.
This sword is wild feeling and flavor of Mino school.
The sword passed NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon.
He received the tytle of Ho-ki Kami at Kanbun 5th and passed away at Hoei 4th.
Koshirae:
Saya:Black ishimeji style kawarinuri saya.
Tsuba;On the round shape iron tsuba, saddle and a stick are engraved.
Menuki:Flower desidn is engraved by syakudo plate with gold color.
Kozuka:On the syakudo nanako plate, many samurai are standing
river side to pile up sandbags from protecting sudden flood.
