Sori : 0.1 cm or 0.03 inches.

Width at the hamachi : 2.91 cm or 1.14 inches.
Kasane : 0.67 cm or 0.26 inches.
Era :Late Edo period.
Shape : the blade is rather wide and thick healthy blade.
On the both sides are engraved Bo-Hi.
Jitetsu :Koitame had and mokume had well grained
with jinnee attach beautiful texture.
Hamon : Niedeki Hutosuguha with ash work and sunagashi kinsuji.
Boshi is round shape.
Special feature : Hoki no kami Taira Ason Masayuki
and Motohira both twin jewels in Satsuma province.
He learned the technique of sword making from his father Masayoshi

The blade looks Soshu Shizu school which has a lot of activities sunagashi and kinsuji.
The Hamon both closely resemble typical Motohira’s work.
At that period, Masayuki doesn't make Tanto . So this Tanto is reality item.

Tsuba :On the syakudo nanako plate, kick flowers are engraved with gold color.
Fuchi：On the syakudo plate, some cuts are engraved. kasher :horn.
Saya : black roar saya.
Menuki : On the syakudo plate, some matsu trees and a cranes are engraved with gold color.
Kozuka : On the copper plate, syakudo plate put on the copper
and engraved some designe by tutor way(gold inlay) Late Muromachi period.
Kogatana : Yoshihira.
