This Kanemachi belongs to Jyojyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki: Gold foiled double Habaki.
Blade length : 33.8 cm or 13.30 inches.
Sori : 0.7 cm or 0.27 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.89 cm or 1.13 inches.
Kasane : 0.52 cm or 0.20 inches.
Era : Late Murokachi period, around Eiroku era(1558-1570)
Shape : The blade is rather Wide and thick blade with Sori. There are Koshi-Hi and Futasuji-Hi on both side.
Jitetsu : The mixture of Ko Itame Hada ando oo Hada with Jinie attached. There are Shirake-Utsuri apperar.
Hamon : Nie Deki, From Hamachi is Gunome Midare and then Suguha.
Boshi is round shape.
Special feature : Kanemachi was a sword smith of Mino province.
This is typlical Mino blade. The blade is healthy and attractive shape.
Generally Mino school Tanto has sakizori zori and rather wide shape.
