Signature : Kanemoto

The blade was polished .
Blade length : 37.8 cm or 14.88 inches.
Sori : 0.7 cm or 0.28 inches.
Width at the hamachi : 3.14 cm or 1.24 inches.
Kasane : 0.61 cm or 0.24 inches.
Era : Late Muromachi period.
Shape : The blade is rather wide and longer sized which is called Sunnobi Tanto.
Jitetsu : Itame hada well grained with Jinie attach.
Hamon : Niedeki Sanbonsugi hamon with Notare mix.

Special feature : Kanemoto is the top ranking sword smith in Muromachi period.
Especialy 2nd generation Kanemoto is the tor ranking sword smith in Mino school.
It is very hard to distinguish which generation this Tanto but the Hamon and Jigane is very similar with 2nd Kanemoto.
The blade is small rough area on the Ji, but not so bad.
