(At Autumn 1664, Murai Nagaaki did Wakige Iri Dotan cutting test.
At Summer 1674 Okada Shigenaga did Kasaneiri Dotan cutting test.)

This sword Fujiwara Nobutomo belongs to Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : Copper single Habaki.
Blade length :53.7cm or 21.1 inches.
Sori :1.0 cm or 0.39 inches.
Mekugi :1
Width at the hamachi : 2.9 cm or 1.15 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.18cm or 0.86 inches.
Kasane :0.6 cm or 0.24 inches.
Era : Edo perios Jhokyo era. (AD1684~1687)
Shape : The blade is regular size with small Sori Kanbun style.
Jigane : Koitame Hada well grained with Jinie attach nice soft feeling texture.
Hamon : Niedeki Suguha with small Ashi.
Special feature: Fujiwara Nobutomo started from early Edo and continued to late Edo period.
This sword belongs to 3rd generation. This Kinzogan is precious.
At Kanbun era Murai Nagaaki tried cutting test and at Enpo era, Shigenaga Okada tried cutting test again by using this sword.

Saya : On the black Roiro saya, some black stripes are painting.
Tsuba :Tosyo Tsuba.
Fuchikashira: On the Shakudo Ishimeji plate, family crests are engraved with gold color.
Menuki : On the shakudo Nanakoji plate, horsetails and mushrooms are engraved with gold color.
