Wakizashi

Wakizashi: Kawachi Kami Jyumyo

Wakizashi in Shirasaya with Koshirae. (NBTHK Tokubetsu Kicyo Token.)
Signature : Kawachi Kami Jyumyo
Manji 2 Nen 8 gatsu Kichijitsu.
Shinto: Cyu saku ranking:ino province.

(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to Jyo saku ranking.

The blade was polished.
Habaki :
Blade length : 54.3 cm or 21.4 inches.
Sori : 0.9 cm or 0.35 inches.
Mekugi : 1 
Width at the hamachi : 3.12 cm or 1.23 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.26 cm or 0.89 inches.
Kasane : 0.73 cm cm or 0.29 inches.
Era : Edo period Manji era. (AD1659)
Shape : The blade is wide and thick healthy blade long Wakizashi.
Jigane : Koitame hada well grained with Jinie attached and texture is very viable.
Hamon : Konie-deki small Gunome-midare and Togari shape Gunome-midare mixed and in Hamon, there are Sunagashi and small Kinsuji work.
Special feature :Kawachi Kami Jyumyo was called Wakahara Magoshiro and lived Oogaki Yumi Machi and moved to Bungo Oka and worked for Oka daimyo family.
The blade is well known cut well sword.

Saya : Nashiji Saya
Tsuba : Flower engraved openwork on Yamagane Tsuba.
Fuchi : Plum flower and nightingale engraved on Shakudo Nanakoji plate with gold color.
Kashira : Swallows engraced on Shakudo Nanakoji plate with gold color.
Menuki : Pheonix engraved on Shakudo plate.
