The blade was polished.
Habaki: Silver single foiled habaki
Blade length : 59.2 cm or 23.30 inches.
Sori : 1.0 cm or 0.39 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.925cm or 1.152inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.04cm or 0.8inches.
Kasane : 0.67cm or 0.26inches.
Era : Edo period circa Kanbun（1661-1672）
Shape : It is average width and thickness.
It is long 59.2 wakizashi which is almost katana length.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada well grained with jinie attached. It is beautiful Osaka
steel jigane. There is loose hada around the habaki area which is not serious.
Hamon : Konie base.The hamachi area is suguha however,
it will gradually become gunome mizture with Choji mixture.
Kobushi Choji mix is well seen and there are many up and downers. Ashi is well put and
the rim the the ha is soft. There are many activities such as kinsuji and sunagashi.
Special feature : Kawachi no kami Kunisuke is the son of first generation Kunisuke.
Because he is in middle of the first and second generation, some will call "Naka(middle)-Kawachi "
sword smith. He got high reputation for making unique kobushi(fist shape) choji swords.
He has passed away in August 21st Genroku period. This sword has, like his other pieces,
unique kobushi choji midare burned which makes the hamon quite flamboyant.
The jigane is clear and beautiful Osaka jigane. Polish is done in sashimi style.
Because it is polished well, it is easy to observe the hamon.
Historical background: On Manji 3rd year, There is a Date Incident.
The third head of Sendai Domain, Date Tsunamune has lived a lazy
and selfish life so Date Munemasa, his uncle and the head of Isseki domain, has warned him.
Because Tsunamune did not take his uncle's warning, the relatives have assembled to
make joint signature to the shogunate to make Tsunahide retire and to make his son Kamechiyo
as the secession to a house. The shogunate accept this. Tsunamasa was forced to retire.
The fourth generation, Kamekiyo who was 2 years old at that time has got the post of the domain head.
This incident has create a sensation in the public. There are even Kabuki and plays that acts this incident.

Tsuba :On octangular iron stub, clouds and dragon is engraved and inlayed.
Fuchikashira : On silver plate there is a filed pattern.
Saya : There are black lacquer painted around the ray fish skin.

Kozuka : On silver plate there is a filed pattern .
