Wakizashi in Shirasaya with Koshirae.
Signature : Mumei(unsigned) attributed as Sendai Yasutomo.
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijo saku, Jojo saku Jo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to Jo saku ranking.
The blade is polished by good polisher.
Habaki :copper single habaki.
Blade length : 50.4 cm or 19.8 inches.
Sori :1.4 cm or 0.55 inches.
Mekugi :1
Width at the hamachi : 2.8 cm or 1.11 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.97 cm or 0.78 inches.
Kasane : 0.62 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Edo Enpo era.
Shape : The blade is standard size on width and thickness, deep curve with long Kissaki nice looking shape.
Jigane : Koitame hada well grained with Jinie attach nice Konuka hada like Waki-Hizen.
Hamon : Niedeki Suguha and Notare mixed. Boshi is round shape.
Special feature : Sendai Yasutomo is alse called Yomezaemon and at early Meireki era he became student of Yamato-kami Yasusada.
This blade is Ubu-Mumei Wakizashi with good Jigane, well grained like waki Hizen style with elegant shape.
Koshirae : Hamdachi Koshirae.
Saya :black roiro saya.
Tsuba : Some design is engraved open work on round iron Tsuba.
This is Tosyo Tsuba which was crafted around early Edo period.
Menuki : Cow is engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira, Kojiri : Wrincle pattern engraved on Shakudo plate.
