Wakizashi: Mumei attributed as Uda school

Wakizashi in Shirasaya with Koshirae.
Signature : Mumei(Unsigned) attributed as Uda school.
Guarantee NBTHK Hozon paper.
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijo saku, Jojo saku Jo saku and regular saku)
This sword Mumei Uda school belongs to Jo saku ranking.

The blade is polished.
Habaki : Gold foiled double Habaki.
Blade length : 54.3 cm or 21.4inches.
Sori : 2.1cm or 0.83inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the Hamachi : 2.69cm or 1.06 inches.

Kasane : 0.61cm or 0.24 inches.
Era : Early to mid Muromachi period.
Shape : Oosuriage Mumei Nagamaki-naoshi (fixed to Katana from Nagamaki) blade. Mune is round shape.

Jigane : Itame-hada well grained with Jinie attach blackish Jigane and Masanagare, Chikei working, white Utsuri appear, texture can be seen very well.
On the back side middle part Shinogi-ji has Kirikomi Kizu appear.
Hamon : Bright Nie deki Suguha. Boshi is round shape.
Special feature : The Jigane is blackish and visible to see the texture well itame hada masanagare strong feeling telxture remind us Uda school at early Muromachi period.

Koshirae :
Saya : Blue shell sparaied saya.
Tsuba : Landscape is engraved on oval shape iron tsuba which looks like Chosyu Tsuba.
Menuki :Dog and a roof tile are engraved on Shakudo plate.
