Wakizashi : Mumei (Choshu Yasuyoshi)

Wakizashi in Shirasaya (NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon paper)

Signature : Mumei (Choshu Yasuyoshi.)son of the Sa Yasuyoshi.

The blade was polished by good polisher.
Blade length : 37.2 cm or 14.65 inches.
Sori : 0.1 cm or 0.03 inches.
Mekugi : 3
Width at the hamachi : 2.97 cm or 1.17 inches.
Kasane : 0.95 cm or 0.37 inches.
weight : 295 gram.
Era : Late Nanbokucyo period.
Shape : The blade is wide and rather thick and longer size with small sori nice looking shape.
On moot sad, Bo-hi and soehi and also bonji are engraved and on Ura sad, Bo-hi and Bonji are engraved.
Jitetsu : Itame had and oomokume had and also massage mixed with jinie attach soft feeling nice texture.
Hamon : Koniedeki gunome midare with thick nioikuchi ash, Yo and sunagashi, kinsuji work.
Boshi is noter and hakikake(brush up) with kinsuji.

Special feature : Chosyu Yasuyoshi was a son of the 2nd generation Yasuyoshi.
